Greece’s presence at the 61st Bologna International Children’s Book Fair (8-11 April 2024) is dynamic and multifaceted, in collaboration with Greek publishers and authors, illustrators and representatives of the Greek Section of the International Board on Books Books for Youth (“IBBY”) – Greek Children’s Book Circle, while immediately afterwards, Greece will also participate in the Festival du Livre de Paris (12-14 April 2024) with a professional and cultural programme and a central theme of contemporary Greek prose, prepared in collaboration with Greek publishers and authors, the Centre Culturel Hellénique (Centre Culturel Hellénique), the Hellenic Foundation at the International University Campus in Paris (Fondation Hellénique – Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris), the Greek bookstore-publishing house “Desmos” (Librairie-éditions grecque “Desmos”), as well as foreign publishing houses.

The Greek delegation to the Paris Book Festival will be accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Christos Dimas.
