The new Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the Professor of the Department of Geology of the Faculty of Sciences, Charalambos Feidas.

The election process was completed on Wednesday 7 February 2024, and was held by secret ballot and electronically, through the special information system “Digital Ballot Box ZEUS”.At the meeting of the Administrative Council of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the candidates received the following votes.

Professor of the Department of Medicine of the Faculty of Health Sciences Kyriakos Anastasiades: 2 votes.

Professor of the Department of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering Efstratios Stylianidis: 2 votes.

Professor of the Department of Geology of the Faculty of Sciences Charalambos Feidas: 6 votes.
