The Department of Greek Philology of the University of Thessaloniki and the Department of Philology of the Hellenic University of Thessaloniki invite all those interested to apply for the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programme of Studies “ANCIENT GREEK WRITING: FORMS AND CONTENT”.

The duration of the course of study in the I.P.P.S. is set at four (4) academic semesters and the number of students admitted is seventy (70) per year. The amount of the prescribed tuition fees for the entire programme is set at EUR 4,400. Tuition fees will be paid in one lump sum or in four (4) equal instalments during the first fortnight of each of the four (4) semesters.

Instruction is compulsory using the modern method (i.e. real time) and consists of 13 three-hour periods. Teaching by distance learning means is also provided for in accordance with current legislation, depending on the needs of the lecturers or postgraduate students. Distance learning is carried out through the electronic applications available at the University of Thessaloniki and the National Centre for Postgraduate Studies.

Applications are accepted from graduates of Philology, History and Archaeology, as well as any other faculty (under certain conditions) from 6/6/2023 to 30/8/2023, exclusively by e-mail at [email protected]

Subsequently, candidates, if they meet the criteria of the notice, will be invited to an oral interview, in order to establish the final evaluation list of candidates and to follow the registration process in the I.P.P.S.

All the above procedures will be in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679 – GDPR) and Law 4624/2019.
