The book deals with the mapping of key theoretical currents of post-war architecture with a particular focus on architectural creation from 1960 to 2020. His aim is to understand the representative architectural considerations of this period and to relate them to the wider theoretical and philosophical framework, as well as to their respective practical application. The synthetic priorities of the implemented architectural work of the international scene of the last sixty years are systematically analyzed and explained.

The content is developed in two intertwining fields, philosophy and architecture, highlighting the specificity, the transition points and the critical turning points of the passage of characteristics from one theory to another. The cartography of these connections and routes is structured into five sections in the form of chapters that follow a time continuum. Each chapter is placed in partial dependence on the others, but focuses on a school of thought about architecture that can be read autonomously.

It is a research project in the intermediate area between philosophy and architecture, highlighting the multiple connections between them and the value of critical thinking for space design in fluid times.
