The exhibition of Danae Stratou’s “Threads of Memory—Revisited” continues with success and great visitation at the contemporary art and culture space “Tatiana Dimou | Artists” in Patras, Tsamadou 24.
The solo presentation of Danae Stratou’s work includes photographs from the art installation that the artist made in 2020 in the production areas of the textile factory of Piraiki PATRAIKI, in Patras. Using 12 tons of salt, he imprinted on the floor, as if in a plan, the “traces” of the machines in the factory as they were placed when it was operating. Salt is not a random material, since during the operation of the factory it was used in the production process.
Particularly interesting to visitors is the video that is projected in the space, which includes both snapshots from the creation of the work as well as narrations of former workers of the factory or sounds of the machines in operation.
Through the report,
, the public has a unique opportunity to” re-visit” the creation of Danae Stratou, which strongly leaves its imprint on the public, recalling memories of the older employees and reinforcing the myth of the pioneering – for the time of the – Patras business.

Report factors “memory threads-revised.”
