
The Department of Architectural Engineering of Aristotle University presented an exhibition and workshop entitled “Future Under Construction: Doxiadis in Skopje” on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Polytechnic School.
Following presentations at the Benaki Museum in Athens (2018-2019) and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje (2023-2024), the exhibition is moving to Thessaloniki, specifically to Aristotle University. The exhibition focuses on the work of Konstantinos A. Doxiadis and his role in rebuilding the city of Skopje after the devastating earthquake of 1963.
On Tuesday, November 11, at 4 p.m., in Room 301 of the Department of Architectural Engineering, a workshop was held, attended by Associate Professor Kalliopi Amygdalou of the School of Architectural Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, Professor Ana Ivanovska Deskova of the School of Architecture at the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, and Associate Professor Nikos Patsavos of the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Ioannina.
At 7 p.m., the exhibition opened in the Exhibition Hall of the Department of Architectural Engineering.
The exhibition will run until December 23, 2025.
