Information, awareness, and testing campaign on HIV (AIDS) and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) is being organized by the Sexual Health Counseling and Testing Office of the Thessaloniki Public Health Center in collaboration with Aristotle University on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the outdoor area between the Administration and Law School buildings.

On the occasion of World AIDS Day (December 1), a mobile testing unit, staffed by appropriately trained scientific personnel from the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention (EODY), will conduct free rapid tests with counseling before and after the test, provide information on prevention and modes of transmission for HIV, HBV/HCV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and other STIs. As part of the initiative, relevant EODY informational material and condoms will be distributed to promote safer sexual behavior.
