
The Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy, in collaboration with the Academy of Athens, the Center for Byzantine, Modern Greek, and Cypriot Studies at the University of Granada, and the Friends of Constantine and Ioanna Tsatsos Society on the theme of Konstantinos Tsatsos of the Metapolitefsi, with the participation of experts from Greece and abroad. The conference will be held in Athens, in the Ceremony Hall of the Academy of Athens on Friday, November 21, 2025, and in the East Hall of the Academy of Athens on Saturday, November 22, 2025 (28 Panepistimiou Street).
The conference will focus primarily on the developments of 1975 – the drafting of the Constitution, the role of K. Tsatsos, his assumption of the Presidency of the Republic, and his presidential term. At the same time, it will examine the scientific, experimental, and political work of K. Tsatsos, which “emerged” in 1975 and interpreted it, namely the drafting of the Constitution and the role of the elected head of state.
