With 60 papers, 13 poster presentations and 204 participants, the annual Archaeological Conference for the excavations of the year 2024 in Macedonia and Thrace took place on 13 and 14 March 2025 at the KEDEA of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The Conference was organized by the Department of History and Archaeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Ministry of Culture and Sports. Archaeologists from the Archaeological Service, the Universities and foreign Archaeological Schools presented, for the 37th time, the results of their excavations, the archaeological and archaeometric documentation of their data and the projects for the enhancement of monuments in Macedonia and Thrace, from Evros to Kastoria.

The knowledge stemming from the fruitful research approaches is directly transmitted to the international scientific community through the proceedings of these archaeological meetings, which have been published every year since 1987.
