Focusing on the wedding in Asia Minor, the most important social event for both the newlyweds and their family and friends, the exhibition presents wedding garments, objects, relics and archival material from the collections of the ESTIA Museum of Nea Smyrni.

Through exhibits, “Marriage in Asia Minor” aims to highlight the diversity of wedding traditions, customs and traditions of Asia Minor Hellenism.

The material of the exhibition comes from donations and is a tribute to the donors of ESTIA Nea Smyrni.

In the event they participate:
– Ms Chrysoula Koutouzou, teacher of traditional dances of the Leros Asia Minor Association &- members of the Theatre Workshop “Karolos Koun” of ESTIA Nea Smyrni.
