Photographer Ypatia Kornarou invites you to the presentation of her first photography book entitled “Mood” on Wednesday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m., which will take place at the T.A.F / The Art Foundation art and culture space, 5 Normanou Street, Athens.
“Mood” is a book that uses visual storytelling to remind us of the visibility of emotional states. The visual exploration between the subjectivity of moods and the stimuli that cause them was the subject of study for about two years.
The following is an excerpt from the author’s introductory text:
Photography is a human gaze that ceases to view the world stoically, while at the same time, based on the existence of oblivion, it statically films a “reconstructed reality.”
On the day of the presentation, there will be an open discussion with special guests on topics related to the photographic narrative of the book, the background of a photo shoot, and the influence of images on human psychology.
- Stavros Kammas – Photographer, IT Project Manager
- Eleni Lyra– Actress, EMDR Psychologist & Clinical Expressive Therapist through Art
- Stelios Parris– Actor, Essayist
The admission is free
