The Library of the Hellenic Parliament and Papazisis Publications present Konstantinos Sidiropoulos’ book The Diachronic Differentiation of the Fauna of Greece.

The event will take place on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Reading Room of the Benaki Library, at the Tobacco Factory (218 Lenorman Street, Athens).

Dionysia Avgerinopoulou, Chair of the Hellenic Parliament’s Special Permanent Committee on Environmental Protection

The following speakers will discuss the book:
Efstratios D. Valakos, Professor of Comparative Animal Physiology – Ecophysiology, Department of Zoology – Marine Biology
Panagiotis Pafilis, Professor of Animal Diversity, Department of Animal and Human Physiology, Faculty of Biology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
Konstantinos Sidiropoulos, Doctor of Biology – Author – Visual Artist

The event will be accompanied by an exhibition of works by Konstantinos Sidiropoulos and Leontios Petmezas entitled T Life’s Art

After the event, there will be a guided tour of the art exhibition by Konstantinos Sidiropoulos and Leontios Petmezas.

Admission is free upon presentation of a police ID card.
