The National Library of Greece (NLG) celebrates the European Day of Languages and invites adults to a special event dedicated to linguistic diversity, on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 18:00 to 19:30 at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.

Participants will have the opportunity to practice the language of their choice (English, French, German, Greek or Spanish) and talk about their travel experiences in small groups.

As part of the event, and in cooperation with Athens’ Multilingual Library “We Need Books”, readers will have the chance to explore the library’s collection of foreign-language books, featuring titles in 23 different languages.
