Beyond its contribution to the advancement of archaeology, the book also offers an opportunity for reflection on the past, a reassessment of old experiences, and an emotional response to what has irrevocably passed.

Through this work, Angelos Delivorrias contributes to the completion of a study focused on the Venus Doria Pamphilj and, more broadly, on Greek sculpture of the second half of the 5th century B.C.
