This year’s events for the 83rd Anniversary of the Battle of Crete officially begin in a highly spectacular and honourable way.

The skies of Chania will be ” ripped “ on the morning of Tuesday 21 May 2024, by the “Red Arrows” of the British Air Force. The “Red Arrows” are going to perform a rich program of air displays around 11:00 on Tuesday morning, with low-level flights over the Venetian Harbour of Chania, honoring the anniversary.

The event is a co-organization of the Royal Air Force (RAF), the General Staff of the Air Force-115 Fighter Wing, the Region of Crete – Regional Unit of Chania, the Municipality of Chania – Municipal Port Fund.
