The exhibition presents the creative work of a group of 28 children aged 10–12 and teenagers aged 15–16 who participated in four photography workshops under the guidance of photographer Ypatia Kornarou. The photography workshops were based on conceptual representation, giving the children the visual tools to tell stories through their lens. The photographs on display highlight:
- the cultural diversity of children’s everyday lives,
- how they perceive their rights, with emphasis on the right to identity (Article 8) and the right to development and standard of living (Article 27);
- their personal perspectives on their neighborhood, friendships, walks, food, free time, and environment.

Each project offers a small window into how children themselves see and understand the world — a mixture of sensitivity, authenticity, and creative expression.
A collective creative experience
Throughout the workshop, the children from the Culture Workshop and the teenagers from the Teen Network collaborated, exchanged ideas, and supported each other, showing empathy, teamwork, and particular enthusiasm for photography. The result of this process is reflected in the images presented in the exhibition.
Digital distribution of the works
After the exhibition, the photographic works will be posted on the Network’s website and social media as part of an awareness campaign on children’s rights.
