The Department of Programs & Lifelong Learning of the Municipality of Thessaloniki in collaboration with specialized scientists and on the occasion of the World Suicide Prevention Day (10/9) will hold a workshop entitled “Suicide Prevention: The reality in Greece today, diagnosis, intervention, prevention“, on Thursday 07 September at 18:00 at the Thessaloniki History Center (THC).

Mental health scientists will talk about the situation in Greece, the statistics regarding the frequency of suicides and the correct understanding of mental disorders and symptoms that can lead to suicidal ideation and suicides as well as ways of early prevention and intervention both from the family-friendly environment as well as from the state agencies.
