Οn Sunday, 15 February 2026 at 11:00,  City of Athens  invites children to the biggest carnival celebration at Zappeion. Their annual rendezvous with the joy of the Athenian carnival is approaching, and the little masqueraders are getting ready to take action, spreading their rhythm, cheer, and liveliness throughout the city center.

The courtyard of the Zappeion Hall is transformed into the setting for the most colorful outdoor celebration “The Carnival of the World” with a rich program of activities combining games, tradition, and entertainment for the whole family, curated by the Organization of Culture, Sports, and Youth of the Municipality of Athens.

Music, dancing, stilt walkers, carnival games, face painting, balloon creations, Chinese dragons, plenty of streamers, and many surprises make up this year’s celebration, which will be accompanied by the melodies of
by the Athens Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra.

MUNICIPALITY OF PETROUPOLIS

Organized groups from associations, schools, organizations, and individual carnival participants will take part in the carnival parade, which will be held on 25th March Avenue in the Municipality of Petroupolis. The date for the fun is set for Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

The parade will start at Leonidou Street and end at Iro Square , where the Traditional Dance Department will present Carnival dances and a DJ will play music so we can all party together to the frenzied rhythms of Carnival!
