It is a great honor and recognition of her work and her long career in art, that the internationally renowned artist Vicky Tsalamata, (Professor of Etching, Head of the 2nd Etching Studio of A.S.K.T.), has been awarded the “5th International Leonardo da Vinci 2023 Prize”.

The award ceremony took place at the National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci” in Milan, in the presence of collectors, journalists, politicians, and art lovers. The prize is awarded to contemporary artists for their body of visual artwork with an international presence and significant research work.  The winning international artists were selected by the Prize’s advisors and curators, art historians, and art critics, Dr. Salvatore Russo and Dr. Francesco Saverio Russo. The Prize and the ceremony event were organized and curated by the “Effetto Arte” Foundation.

The Institution of Prize includes the special artistic edition of the volume, “Contemporary Celebrity Masters” Volume II, dedicated to the work of the prize-winning artists and accompanied by an article on the life and genius of Leonardo da Vinci, also the edition of the official catalog “5th International Prize Leonardo Da Vinci, The Universal Artist” Publications: “Efetto Arte Foundation”, with the works of the of the awarded artists of the “5th International Leonardo da Vinci 2023 Prize”.
