At Villa della Regina, on Wednesday, March 25, at 11:00 a.m., the second edition of the QU.EEN cultural festival, “Art and Nature Narratives at Villa della Regina,” will take place, along with the opening of the exhibitions “Meraviglia. Viaggio nell’arte di Ezio Gribaudo,” a solo exhibition by Ezio Gribaudo, and “Leda Melanitis: Butterflies and Mythologies between Art History and Bioart,” a solo exhibition by Ioannus Melanitis.

The festival, curated by Roberto Mastroianni, Sara Lyla Mantica, and Valeria Amalfitano, with scientific coordination by Filippo Masino, aims to rediscover and enhance the cultural identity of Villa della Regina, engaging with the literary themes that have defined its history since its origins and revealing new perspectives on its unique humanistic vocation.

The theme of the second edition is “the journey,” understood as a crossing of boundaries between reality and fantasy, nature and artifice, time and space, in a narrative that will weave together wonder, memory, exploration, and discovery.

The event will feature a rich program of activities focusing on the connections between writing, memory, and storytelling, including guided tours, workshops, talks, inclusion projects, and performances. This will be organized in collaboration with various institutions and associations, including Salone OFF of the Turin International Book Fair, the Academies of Fine Arts of Turin and Athens, the Gribaudo Archive of Turin, the National Libraries of Florence and Turin, the Circolo dei Lettori Foundation, the Scuola Holden, the monumental villas and residences of Florence, and the associations PassepArt-Out, Teatro8, and Amici di Villa della Regina.
