Greece is taking part in the 2026 London Book Fair from March 10 to 12 at the Olympia London exhibition and conference center, expanding its footprint on the international stage and strengthening the bridges of cooperation between the Greek and global publishing communities.
The Greek participation is being prepared by the Ministry of Culture, through the Directorate of Letters, in collaboration with the Hellenic Foundation for Books and Culture.
The London International Book Fair, one of the most important institutions in the global publishing industry, brings together thousands of book professionals every year—publishers, authors, translators, literary agents, and academics—creating an environment for meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
The Greek pavilion (Stand 1D101) has been given a new architectural identity. Its upgraded image, the strengthening of translation activities, and its systematic presence at leading international institutions confirm the Ministry of Culture’s strategic goal of promoting Greek literature abroad.
The redesigned space reflects the contemporary dynamism of Greek book production, highlighting the country’s extroverted orientation on the international publishing map. This year, the Greek pavilion will host 36 publishing houses and cultural organizations.
The Greek delegation is planning working meetings, international collaborations, and exchanges of expertise with publishing organizations and cultural institutions.
