A series of events to commemorate the National Resistance, as well as the Assembly of the Saints of Agia, will be organized on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November by the Municipality of Agia, in cooperation with the Holy Monastery of Demetrias.

Τhe schedule of the events is shaped as follows: 

SATURDAY 23  NOVEMBER  2024

17:30. Great solemn vespers at the Holy Church of Saints Anthony, in honor of the Holy Saints, with artoklasia.

SUNDAY 24  NOVEMBER 2024

07:30. Divine Liturgy with divine preaching.

10:15. Arrival of dignitaries and beginning of the Doxology at the Metropolitan Church of Saints Anthony.

Speech about the National Resistance.

A memorial service will follow at the National Resistance Monument located at “SOTIRITSA”, Agia – Agiokampos provincial road, and the laying of wreaths.
