On Monday, April 22, 2024, at 20:00, the Gerovassiliou Wine Museum hosts the Academic, Professor Emeritus of Linguistics of the University of Athens, Christoforos Charalambakis, in the lecture “The timelessness of the Greek language“.

The lecture will present the evolutionary course of the Greek language and its particular features, mainly at the lexical level. Emphasis will be placed on the present-day Modern Greek language and the problems it faces in the era of globalization, multilingual and multicultural societies and artificial intelligence.

As part of the lecture, the Wine Museum will be open to the audience from 19:00-20:00.
