A series of events is organized by the Municipality of Agia, in the Municipal Community of Agia, on Sunday 29 December, giving the opportunity to residents and visitors of all ages to celebrate the Holy Days with fun and entertainment.

At 12 noon on Sunday we will all follow the route of the Santa Run in collaboration with the Agia Health Runners Association. People of all ages wear a red hat and walk or run through the streets of Agia. Moms and dads with babies in strollers, children, adults and why not seniors, will all become one company and have fun. The route is easy and short. It will start and end at the central square of Agia where the Municipality has planned several beautiful surprises.

From 11 in the morning at Agia Square the “tsigarides” will start cooking, offered by the butchers and with the support of the “Yiam” workshop, which will be waiting for the visitors to revive the custom. They will be offered along with trahanas and waffles with chocolate and honey, by the Agia Women’s Association.

The event will be attended by the dance section of the Cultural Dance Group “Choragogy”, the dance section of the Cultural Association “Asvesti Floga” and the adult dance section “M. Dallas”.

The event will be accompanied by the traditional orchestra “Doumalani”.

Also in the square there will be a bazaar with traditional products and handmade creations, waiting for you to visit them.
