The “journey” to Agia continues following the steps proposed by the Municipality to introduce visitors to the nature, cuisine, activities, beaches and mountains of the area.

The Municipality of Agia launches a series of proposals for the summer of 2025. With its 45 km coastline, its endless destinations, the beauties of Kissavos and Montenegro, and its vast cultural heritage, the Municipality of Agia proposes 45 “steps” for visitors this summer, for 45 days from July 1 to August 15.

Every day, a new destination or an activity filling the summer of the visitors of the region with unique experiences and suggestions for relaxation, tastes and recreation.

Step#29 Anatoli (Selitsani)

The picturesque village Anatoli of our Municipality is built on the slopes of Kissavos, at an altitude of 950m. The female multi-ethnic monastery of Timios Prodromos, founded in 1550 by Hosios Damianos, is located on a wonderful natural balcony of Kissavos (1,000m) overlooking the entire Thessalian Campos.

Step#30 Psarolakas Beach

If we wanted to create a postcard from the colours of the water we would definitely come here. Fresh water meets the sea with rocks for diving in a beautiful beach. Organized but not for everyone. Perfect for those who are really looking for something different, for nature lovers and walkers as you want a 10 minute walk.. but the bliss of nature will make up for those who attempt it….

Omolio flourished during the 4th century BC, as it participated in the Delphic Amphictyony with 2 even Hieromnemones. It had its own mint and coins depicting the hero of Meliboea with the snake (according to others, Asclepius) have been preserved.

Step#32 Panagia Beach

A small, about 50 m long, deserted beach with stones and pebbles that looks like a private beach. For your shade, the proud plane trees take care of your shade… for some who seek lonelier shores and wanderings.
