Following a successful program of events in the summer of 2025, which was warmly received by the public in the region, the Ministry of Culture’s “All of Greece, One Culture” initiative returns in 2026 with its seventh edition. The program is being substantially enhanced, with the number of events increasing from 70 to 95, and is developed around the theme inspired by the famous verse from Menander’s Dyskolos “How beautiful are human beings when truly human beings.” Now established as a point of reference on the country’s cultural map, the institution continues to broaden the creative dialogue between cultural heritage and contemporary artistic expression.
In its seventh edition, the institution invites the country’s artistic community to create works focusing on “returning to humanity.” At a time when we are caught between humanism and post-humanism, between the performing arts and the digital condition, the return to humanity as a measure of artistic creation is a necessary gesture. The performing arts are a field of constant reflection on the human condition, at a time when the concepts of humanity, humanism, and man are undergoing an unprecedented crisis, but are also facing an uncharted future. The framework of the institution “All of Greece, one culture,” based on the dialogue between contemporary culture and the cultural heritage of emblematic archaeological sites, is an ideal framework for the creation of works that explore the broad field of inquiry opened up by Menander’s aphorism.
The 2026 program of the Ministry of Culture “All of Greece, one culture” will be composed of proposals selected by a Special Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Culture, following an open call addressed to cultural organizations operating as Urban Non-Profit Companies (AMKE).
Proposals will be submitted electronically via the Register of Cultural Institutions (Gov gr) from Wednesday, December 3, 2025, to Monday, January 12, 2026.
