A prerequisite is that the island of Cyprus must be the main topic of study for the Master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation, regardless of the subject of study. Indicatively, the research topic could be related to the history, geography, culture, society, architecture, archaeology, etc. of Cyprus.

The scholarships are open to Greek and Cypriot graduates of Greek or Cypriot Institutions of Higher Education (TEI) with a degree of at least eight (8) and up to 33 years of age.

The scholarship is a financial support with a fixed amount, regardless of tuition fees or University Institution, is renewed annually after evaluation and has a maximum duration of three (3) years.
