A true superstar of contemporary classical music, the Chinese pianist Lang Lang, at the stage of the Herodion on 15 July, in a landmark concert for this summer.

The leading pianist will perform Edvard Grieg’s popular Piano Concerto for Piano and Orchestra under the baton of legendary conductor Christoph Eschenbach, who also leads Tchaikovsky’s intensely emotional Fourth Symphony. The Athens State Orchestra celebrates its 80th anniversary this year with this premier musical event.
