On Friday, October 10, 2025, at 9 p.m., COSMOTE HISTORY began screening the Athens Epidaurus Festival and elc productions documentary 70 Years of the Athens Epidaurus Festival—Through Their Eyes.

The documentary was presented to the public for the first time on September 30 at a special screening at Peiraios 260, attended by artists, collaborators, friends of the Festival, journalists, and the Organization’s management, in an evening full of memories and emotion.

The documentary recounts the Festival’s 70-year history through authentic, personal narratives and, at times, humorous testimonies from people who have been associated with it. Directors, actors, musicians, set designers, costume designers, theater scholars, choreographers, artistic directors, and technicians bring the history of the Festival to life with the help of rare archival material, footage from rehearsals, and excerpts from iconic performances.

It is a production of the Athens Epidaurus Festival and elc productions, co-produced by COSMOTE TV and sponsored by EKOMMED and ADMHE. Through Their Eyes is a tribute to cultural memory, with an eye to the future. It is an important cinematic record that is not limited to the past, but inspires hope for the continuation of this great celebration of culture for many years to come.
