A film of social realism with elements of agony and suspense that reflect the personal agony, the personal battle with the values and ideals of the protagonist who at every step sinks and gets lost in the dark tunnel of the inevitable will be shown at 9.30 in the evening on Tuesday 2 July in the atrium of the new Town Hall to the friends of the Municipal Cinema.

Blaga’s Lessons“, directed by Stefan Komandarev, penetratingly studies the inner processes that take place in the psyche of his heroes, and is a “ringing bell” as to the moral crisis of the society it refers to, winning the Karlovy Vary Prize.

The film will be re-screened on Thursday 4 July at Agios Vasilios and on Sunday 7 July at Thea.

The screenings are free of admissions fees.
