With the screening of the movie El Bola continue at 9:30 on the evening of Tuesday, July the 4^th, in the atrium of the Old Municipal Hospital, the screenings of the Municipal Mobile Cinema section.

It is a multi-award winning Spanish film by Achero Manas which approaches and brings to the fore the issue of child abuse. A simple and touching film regarding child abuse and the responsibility of the others.

Pablo, a 12-year-old boy, whom his classmates call El Bola, grows up in a troubled environment, as his father embittered by the loss of his eldest son, abuses him systematically and without mercy. Feeling embarrassed about his family situation, Pablo avoids getting closer to his classmates.

The arrival of a new student with whom he bonds with true friendship and the discovery of a family where love and communication prevail, equip El Bola with the necessary strength to accept and finally face his situation. A tough and earthy film that aims straight to the heart and talks about how much strength it takes for one person to finally touch freedom.

The film has won 4 Goya Awards: Best Picture, Best New Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best New Actor.

Starring: Juan Jose Ballesta, Pablo Galan, Manuel Moron, and Alberto Jimenez.

The film will be screened again on Thursday, July the 6^th in the courtyard of the 44^th Primary School of Perivola and on Sunday, July the 9^th, in the courtyard of the Mintiloglion Primary School.

The screening is presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain and Instituto Cervantes.
