From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 July, Athenians make the last appointments in their neighbourhood with culture and entertainment, at the events offered free of charge by the City of Athens as part of the “Summer in Athens 2025” Festival.
The programme of events of the last three days in detail:
Friday 18 July 2025

Concert| Manolis Karantinis, Aspasia Stratigou and Gerasimos Andreatos: Manolis Chiotis’ swing
Lina Nikolakopoulou artistically curates a special musical performance dedicated to the innovative Manolis Chiotis. Swing, mambo, bossa nova and folk songs come to life on stage, illuminating the key milestones of the great virtuoso’s career.

20:00 | Fárisa from Danae and Dionysios
A duet for outdoor spaces, focusing on two characters, who are constantly moving close to each other, looking for a meaningful connection. Inspired by the idea of pilgrimage as a life journey, the work explores our relationship with animals and the natural environment.
20:30 | Trüpped
The dance performance studies the tripod as a distinctive sign of political and social indifference. Through falls, repetitions and silences, it highlights the fragile boundary between action and inaction.
Choreographers – Dancers: Iris Liakakou and Isadora Fraser
Saturday 19 July 2025
20:30 | Pinelopis Delta Square, Ellinorosson
A musical concert for kids | Giorgis Christodoulou: Where is the moon gone?
A fun concert full of theatricality, humour and interaction.
21:00 | Manitaki and Dyrrachiou Stadium, Sepolia
Concert| Vassilis and Vangelis Korakakis
Two generations meet in a satisfying journey through the streets of good urban folk singing, from the first moments that were recorded to the present day.

Concert| Chainides
A true art collective for over three decades. A journey of impeccable ethics and absolute consistency. A collective that dares to die and rise again. A team that is constantly evolving, risking and experimenting. An independent voice, unafraid to speak when everyone else is silent.
