The Loutraki International Film Festival “BRIDGES” returns for its seventh year, inaugurating the summer season with a rich cinematic experience. Previous editions in Loutraki were held in the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2022, and 2024.

This year’s program, lasting approximately 45 hours and featuring 40 artists, includes screenings of award-winning films from previous years of the “BRIDGES” Festival, as well as premieres of recent short and feature-length films from Greece and abroad. The screenings will be accompanied by discussions with the creators, offering the audience the opportunity to get to know their work and actively participate in the dialogue

The categories and themes of the festival include

  • Short films: Creations from emerging and established filmmakers that tell stories in a concise but powerful way.
  • Feature films: A variety of themes and narratives from around the world, offering deeper cinematic experiences.
  • Documentary: Films that explore social, cultural and environmental issues, showcasing real stories and events.
  • Children’s Movies: Screenings suitable for children, promoting a love of cinema from an early age.
  • Animation: creative animated films that delight young and old alike.
  • Greek Cinema: Promotion of domestic film production with films that reflect Greek culture and society.
  • World Cinema: Selections from international filmmakers offering a variety of themes and cultural approaches.
  • SMARD category (Smart Art Advertising): a new section that presents advertising films of high aesthetic and cinematic value, highlighting creativity in the field of advertising.
  • WIFT CYPRUS Curates: A selection from Women in Film and Television Cyprus, www.wiftcy.org that highlights the work of women in the cinematic medium
  • Award-winning films from previous festivals “BRIDGES”: re-screenings of selected films that have won awards in the past.

Subtitles: Non-Greek speaking films will be screened with Greek subtitles.
