Purpose/Scope of the Master’s Program
The Master’s Program entitled “Nutrition, Well-being & Public Health” is part of the University of the Aegean’s strategic plan, is guided by a coherent interdisciplinary approach, and aims to provide education and up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Nutrition in relation to the Promotion of Well-being and Public Health. Specifically, the M.Α. program aims to provide scientific training and specialization for future executives in public administration, private food production/enterprises, and consulting activities in the rapidly evolving field of nutrition and its critical role in promoting the well-being and health of modern society. The Master’s programme provides advanced and specialized knowledge regarding the in-depth understanding, evaluation, and management of the nutritional value of food nutrients and their integration into a balanced diet and nutrition policy.
