The exhibition Before and after science, is a new commission by ΝΕΟΝ to the artist Iris Touliatou and is part of the NEON City Project 2024. It is presented in collaboration with the National Research Foundation.

Before and after science explores the history, infrastructure and operation of the Foundation: its interior and its environment, the building materials and intangible structures that govern its organization, the human relationships that constitute its potential. It deals with the visibility or otherwise of the elements that make up the organisation’s system, accessibility, both to spaces and to information, and the production and dissemination of knowledge. It approaches its institutional and social role, the transition from the national, to the public, to the personal and emotional realm.
