The philosophy of the Inter- Institutional Postgraduate Programme “Applied-Clinical Sociology and Art” is based on the principles of social justice, social empowerment, emancipation and collective action. In an era, such as the present one, of increasing uncertainty, social crises and social conflicts, new and urgent needs for creative, social and artistic intervention, for new participatory tools of research and design emerge. The programme “Applied – Clinical Sociology and Art”, through the theoretical and laboratory training of students, aims to develop these new participatory tools oriented towards critical approach, social change, and artistic practice. Artistic practice is conceived through applied research and an experiential process that highlights the visual object as an object of encounter between people, rather than as a mere artistic skill.
