The graduation ceremonies of the Programmes of Studies were successfully completed in the atrium of the Hellenic Open University in Patras. The above ceremonies took place in the physical presence of the graduates, while they were also broadcasted electronically through the University’s Youtube channel.

The Vice Rectors of Research and Innovation, Professor Athanasios Michiotis and Student Affairs, Professor Vasilios Verykios, spoke about the success of the HOU to become self-sufficient and the new perspectives offered by this change, while Professor Emeritus Professor Joseph Bouzakis, as a member of the Board of Governors, congratulated all the graduates.

The ceremonies were attended by Deans: Professor Achilleas Kameas of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Professor Antigoni Vlavianou Detzortzi of the Faculty of Humanities and Professor Prokopios Theodorides of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

In addition, a large number of faculty members of the Foundation participated. In particular, Professor Maria Hadjinikolaou (member of the Board of Directors), Professor George Hadjigeorgiou, Associate Professor Petros Kokkinos, Professor Kyriakos Bourikas, Associate Professor Georgios Papagiannopoulos, Associate Professor Maria Katsantoni, Associate Professor Eleni Boliaki, Assistant Professor. Evangelia Manousou, Assistant Professor Stasinos Stavrianeas, Associate Professor Eleni Sfakianaki, Associate Professor Evangelos Koumanakos, Professor Georgios Gantzias, Professor Augustinos Dimitras (member of the Management Board), as well as several Directors of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes of Studies, who congratulated the graduates and wished them a good career based on their new degree.
