The inter-institutional Postgraduate Program “Religious and Pilgrimage Tourism” of the Department of Social Theology and Christian Culture of AUTH organizes an online event on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 19:00 to 21:00 on the theme “Tourism-Greece: targeting and possibilities.”

The main speaker of the event is Mrs. Angeliki Varela, director of domestic and foreign services at the Greek Tourism Organization, which will develop the theme with an emphasis on the field of religious tourism.

It will be followed by panels with graduate graduates of the program, who will briefly present their thesis papers. The students present are: Styliani Loti, Chrysoula Morfi, Maria Foulatzikli, and Thomas Kaffes.

On behalf of the two cooperating departments of the two institutions, the president of the Department of Social Theology and Christian Culture will welcome the event. P.I. professor Apostolos Kralidis, the chairman of the Department of Organization Management, Marketing, and Tourism of DI.PA.E. professor Theodoros Kargidis, and YMATH representative Anastasios Zafiridis, who will present the ministry’s actions for the strengthening of tourism in Macedonia and Thrace.
