On May 21, 2024, a group of undergraduate and graduate students of the Department of Mediterranean Studies at Columbia University in the City of New York, attended an educational workshop on ancient drama on the stage of Karolos Koun-The Greek Art Theater.

The programme was conducted by the graduate of the Theatre School of the Karolos Koun- The Greek Art Theater, actor – philologist Menelaos Kyparissis. Greetings were given by the Artistic Director Marianna Kalbari and the President of the Board of Directors Kali Pagoulatou – Kyparissis. The students’ visit to Greece was coordinated by the Professor of History of Mediterranean Studies Konstantina Zanou, Nikos Kakoufas and Chloe Charalambous. Dean Shannon P. Marquez attended the proceedings.
