A grand evening of music, dedicated to solidarity and accessibility, will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 8:30 p.m., at the Katrakio Theater in Nikaia, featuring many beloved and acclaimed artists.
All proceeds from the concert will be allocated exclusively to the creation and operation of a Mobile Specialized Therapy Unit, which will provide assessment, early intervention, and support services to children and families living in remote and hard-to-reach areas of the country.
The concert is organized as part of the nationwide initiative “XORIS APOSTASEIS” by SKEPI GIA OLOUS, a non-profit organization, and is held with the support of the Municipality of Nikaia – Agios Ioannis Renti, as part of the celebration marking the 40th anniversary of the Katrakio Theater. This event highlights the power of culture to unite people and turn solidarity into action.

Also participating are the “Chorus Vivendi” choir, the Children’s and Youth Choir of the K.D.A.P. for People with Disabilities “Epi-LOGES,” as well as actors Marianna Toumasatou and Menelaos Kyparissis.
Marios Karampotis will serve as the orchestra’s music director, and Christina Iordanidou will host the event.

The concert will be fully accessible, with interpretation in Greek Sign Language by Sofia Roboli.
The event marks the official launch of the Pan-Hellenic Initiative “XORIS APOSTASEIS” an open collaborative network aimed at reducing inequalities in children’s and families’ access to prevention, early assessment, therapeutic support, and information services.
Through partnerships with municipalities, scientific institutions, and the local community, the Initiative seeks to bring essential services closer to citizens so that no family is deprived of the support it needs due to distance or limited access.
The Municipality of Nikaia–Agios Ioannis Rentis supports initiatives that promote culture, social solidarity, and inclusion, and invites citizens to join us for a special evening of music and giving.
Because distance should never limit a child’s opportunities.
