The painter Minas Kampitakis was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete.

In Athens, he pursued independent studies in drawing, color, the texture of materials, and visual composition.

To date, he has held 14 solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

He has also created illustrations for texts, cards, album covers, DVDs, and CDs, as well as various art objects and small-scale sculptures.

His works are held in art galleries and private collections.

He lives and works in Athens.
