Sychroni Epochi Publications has released a book by the communist activist and author Spyros Halvatzis, who passed away on September 12, 2026.

The book’s subtitle—“A Life Devoted to the Struggle”—captures in the most straightforward way his dedication to his ideals and his constant desire to put an end to the exploitation of one person by another.

This is a book that traces the decades following World War II, during which thousands of unyielding fighters stood their ground and took action, thousands of members and leaders of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), under the harshest conditions of class struggle, amid persecution, brutal violence, and repression by the bourgeois state.
