The Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy, as part of the exhibition “1945: The End of the War,” continues its series of monthly events titled “Discussions at the Exhibition.”

The aim of the initiative is to explore the key turning points of this critical year, which marks both the end of the war and the dawn of a new era for humanity.

The fourth discussion, titled “War and Reconstruction,” will take place on Wednesday, June 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the former State Tobacco Factory (218 Lenorman Street).

The following speakers will address the event:

George Stathakis, former minister | professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Crete

Haris Papasotiriou, Professor in the Department of International and European Studies at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences

Konstantina Botsiou, Professor in the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Piraeus

Eleni Beneki, Head of the Historical Archives at the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation

The event will be moderated by Michalis Psalidopoulos, professor emeritus in the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
