It is dedicated to women raising children on their own.
A true story. An award-winning film abroad.
Synopsis:The film’s theme is “heavy,” with a tragic undertone. It is interwoven with lighthearted elements so that the tragic emerges through the comic, revealing the full force of the former. The viewer is given a sense of balance to help them discern the tragic moments, see their roots, and, ultimately, identify with them at several points in the script. It avoids the misunderstandings that were common in the films we’re referring to and would have given the film a grotesque structure.
