The following announcement was issued by the Press Office of the Municipality of Agia:

“February 28 reflects the collective trauma of a society that demands justice. Every anniversary of the tragic accident in Tempi is a sacred obligation for citizens to demand a country with safety, respect for human life, and justice. And to do so by any means necessary.

The Municipality of Agia will participate tomorrow with all its forces in the rally and march organized by collective bodies in Larissa. At the same time, it calls on all Agia residents to participate en masse in the events. Let us all join our voices to the demand coming from every corner of the country and make ourselves heard around the world: Greece has the right to be a modern, safe country that protects its children.
