An event to celebrate World Town and Country Planning Day is being organized by the Department of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering of Aristotle University, in collaboration with the Technical Chamber of Greece/ Central Macedonia Branch (TEE/CMB) and the Association of Greek Engineers of Urban Planning, Spatial Planning and Regional Development/Northern Greece Regional Branch, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the TEE/TKM Amphitheater (49 Megalou Alexandrou Street, Thessaloniki).

The event will be addressed by the President of the Technical Chamber of Greece/Technical Chamber of Macedonia, Elias Pertzinidis, the President of the Department of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering at Aristotle University, Professor Nikolas Karanikolas, and the President of the Association of Greek Engineers of Urban Planning, Spatial Planning and Regional Development/Regional Department of Northern Greece, Nikos Koutsomarkos.

As part of the event, Paris Billias, Deputy Regional Governor for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Networks of Central Macedonia, will give a speech entitled: “Upgrading Thessaloniki through major projects and infrastructure.”

A reception will follow in the foyer.
