The Ministry of Culture is planning Greece’s participation in the WOMEX (World Music Expo) 2025, which will take place from October 22 to 26 in Tampere, Finland, with the aim of promoting the domestic music scene abroad.

The Exhibition is the main annual event of the international music support and development program WOMEX, based in Berlin (since 1994), and is one of the most important music networking platforms, covering a wide range of musical genres. It is accompanied by a varied program of seminars, information events, conferences, film screenings, and concerts, with the ultimate goal of promoting cultural diversity and supporting the global mobility of artists and music organizations.

The Greek participation in the exhibition is curated by the Music Department of the Directorate of Performing Arts and Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. The Greek pavilion will host all Greek participants who will showcase their work by hosting meetings for the exchange of views and professional collaborations.

For interested artists who will not be attending the Exhibition, there is the option of having the stand managers present and distribute material promoting their identity and artistic work, in both printed and digital form. This material must be sent so that it arrives by October 22, 2025, at the following address:
