For the third consecutive year, the sacred site of the Asclepieion in Ancient Corinth comes alive once again, hosting a unique cultural experience where Myth, Philosophy, and Art meet through the lens of the Greek tradition of self-healing.

The Cultural Association “Academy of Asclepian Self-Healing,” the theater group “ARSINOE,” and the Society of Literature and Art “Alkyonides” present the “Asclepian Events,” theatrical cultural anthropology of an ancient-knowledge character. This is an initiative dedicated to the “Clarity of Mind, Psychosomatic Well-being, Strengthening, and Promotion of Health” of the modern human and is held under the auspices of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Corinth (Eph.A.Kor.), under the title:

“The Myth of Asclepius”

The event is based on the bibliography of Dimitris I. Pantazidis Ph.D., “Asclepian Self-Healing.”

The event will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 19:30, with the meeting point at the entrance of the Archaeological Museum of Ancient Corinth. The date was chosen symbolically, as it coincides with the July full moon, within the framework of the Summer Solstice.

It is a ritualistic return to the roots of Greek wisdom, where the past listens to the present, highlighting the value of holistic healing and inner harmony. The event is simulated as a symbolic ritual of ancient knowledge, aiming to connect the past with the present through theatrical performance, experiential participation, and the sacredness of the archaeological site.

Additionally, from 19:00 to 20:00, participants will have free access to the archaeological site of the Temple of Apollo and the Archaeological Museum.
