On Saturday 21 June at 11.30 am, on the occasion of the International Day of European Music, a thematic tour of the Museum’s Permanent Exhibition entitled “A musical journey through the years of the Struggle” was held.

Greek songs, thieving and heroic, French and Spanish revolutionary songs, Thurii, philhellenic songs and the “Hymn to Freedom”, form an original musical narrative that follows the exhibits, illuminating the fragments of the era from which the Greek state emerged. The programme also includes videos of the musical instruments, songs and dances of the revolutionary Greeks.
