On 4 October, at 19:00, the book by Ilias Kolovos “In the times of the Sultans – The societies of the Greek peninsula under Ottoman rule (14th-19th century)” will be presented by Asini Publications. The book presentation will take place in the garden of the Centre for Asia Minor Studies (6 Konstantinou Tsatsou Street, Plaka).

The book will be presented by Mohammad Shariyat Panahi, Assistant Professor of Ottoman History at the University of Thessaly, Vasso Seirinidou, Associate Professor of Modern Greek History at the University of Athens, and the author Ilias Kolovos, Professor of Ottoman History at the University of Crete.

The presentation will be followed by a concert with music and songs from the times of the Sultans, with members of the InterMusiG Programme:
